I began my career as a news photojournalist with Fox 26.
I went on to work for KSEE 24 where I won an Edward R. Murrow award and learned from watching and asking questions from the more seasoned photographers that worked at KSEE.
KGPE 47 hired me after KSEE and I finished my news photojournalist career with ABC 30.
As a photojournalist, I learned the basics of telling quick stories that were ready to air on the 6pm and 11pm news casts on a nightly basis.
Although I loved working in news and being behind the camera and editing the stories I shot, I yearned for the ability to tell more in-depth stories; stories that did not have a strict time limit.
