Tim Phillips founded Open Road Productions in 2012, following 25 years honing his skills as a television news reporter, news bureau chief, videographer, video producer and editor, and documentary filmmaker.
Tim has won numerous awards for his feature-length documentary productions, promotional videos, and live-coverage events.
He double-majored in Film Studies and English at the University of Kansas before earning a Master's Degree at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
He now lives in Lawrence, KS with his wife, two sons and an office full of cameras and video editing computer equipment.
