We went to isle of Palm Beach for the very first time, came across Dennis on google so I thought about booking with him. AND TO SAY THE SAME DAY I MESSAGED HIM HE TOOK OUR photos! It was the best decision ever, he was truly one of the best photographers we've ever worked with! He had the perfect location, perfect angles, and just the best attitude even with our Two children under the age of two. he Showed us so much patience, and just had the most positive attitude! BUT THE BEST PART was his amazing photography skills, my babies were crying and very tired & yet he still was able to get so many great shots! Mr. Dennis was the most down to earth guy, and definitely a character. we will be seeing him every year until he no longer wants to take Pictures any more! I hired Dennis to capture my marriage proposal at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. It went better than I could have hoped for, and we have beautiful photos and video to capture the experience forever. Dennis was easy to work with both in planning and after the session. He went above and beyond during our photo session, capturing the moment of the proposal, and then taking us to all of his favorite sites in the garden for additional photos, all the while promoting a joyful and fun experience. I highly recommend his photography services, and think he offers a great value for his work.

My fiance booked Dennis for a surprise engagement photo shoot. From the very start to finish Dennis worked with my fiance to plan, pick a location, and coordinate the logistics of the event. He had shopped around for a few photographers and Dennis was by far the most competitive price! Throughout the whole experience he made us feel cared for and was extremely professional. Dennis did such a fantastic job capturing our special moments, we are booking him for our wedding.

Dennis was consistently in contact throughout the process to help set up a surprise proposal that made our day so special. He is flexible, fun to work with, and has a passion for what he's doing that shows in his work. You can tell he has a great deal of experience in these situations because he balances attention to detail with making sure the couple is enjoying themselves.

Dennis is the BEST photographer to have in Charleston! We are so glad our photographer cancelled last min and we hired Dennis and he was available to accommodate us. He is a true professional, great family photographer yet very personable, knows how to work with kids( my two year old toddler was smiling all through the photoshoot) He knows how to keep the session fun and knows how to capture candid family portraits.

He even would tell you to fix your hair or any other details (something which I always tell my husband but he says he never noticed ) We had a lovely time with him. He is true to his words, delivers what he promises and even gave us a great deal! Hire Dennis for all your occasions, you won't regret. All in all, He's wonderful and pleasant to work with.

Dennis is simply the best and I cannot recommend him enough. He exceeded our expectations! He did an absolutely amazing job with our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding photos. Not only is the quality superior to others, BUT HE MAKES TAKING PHOTOS FUN AND MADE US LOOK GOOD! My husband hates taking photos, but loved working with Dennis because he constantly made us laugh.

As a result, all of our photos have genuine smiles instead of forced, fake smiles. Dennis also did a fantastic job working with our little ring bearers and flower girls (age range 2-8) that were a little cranky and tired of photos. Because of Dennis, they went from crying to giggling, and the photos turned out adorable. Dennis was also our ONLY vendor that did not charge us a "postponement fee" when we rescheduled from March 2020 wedding to May 2021, which really meant a lot to us.

His second shooter is also amazing as well (so sorry I forgot her name). Dennis always responded timely to my emails and texts and arrived 30 mins early to each session. So many of our guests asked me for Dennis's contact info after the wedding because they wanted to book him for their engagement/wedding/family photos. Again, Dennis is simply the best!

Dennis and his team at Charleston Photo Art are absolutely fantastic. He did a great job directing my husband and I during both our engagement and wedding day sessions. Neither of us like to take photos and Dennis was able to make taking photos as painless as possible for us! It ending up raining on our wedding day and Dennis was able to adjust last minute with recording what was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony to and indoor setup.

He interacted wonderfully with our guests and kept up with individual requests for photos from our family members. Our entire wedding party complimented our photographer because Dennis and his team are just that great with interacting with people. We certainly hope to hire Dennis in the future for family portraits down the road!

We were offered the free session for dog parents and Dennis took wonderful photos! He is patient and uses the time wisely. He is so kind, funny, and helps with posing which helps diversify the photos. We were comfortable around him and he captured some great moments with our fur baby! Our session was free and came with a free 8X10 print, so any extra photos you love will have to be purchased.

It is professional photo prices! We loved a lot of them haha so we got them edited and did purchase more. If you're looking for an engagement or wedding photographer, I highly recommend Dennis and his team!

We met with Dennis and we were instantly greeted with a warm welcome and a big smile! He had a great attitude and showed his love for photography! He made us at ease, which made us more comfortable!
