Our studio incorporates blue screening facilities, a full video editing suite, a sound recording facility with kitchen, dressing and office facilities. The 3000 square foot production facility in Oakland California has easy access by auto, truck, rapid transit and air.
Alpha Spectrum also carries a one million dollar insurance policy to secure all of their productions. We specialize in producing science and educational documentaries for broadcast and entertainment. Our programs have won awards from the San Francisco International Film Festival, the Educational Film and Video Festival, the California State Expo, Earth Vision Film Festival, Telly Awards, Cine Poetry Film Festival and several others.
Our cameras have ranged from hospital operating rooms to the Russian Kremlin. In addition to traditional types of filming and taping, we also perform photo microscopy (shooting tiny objects) providing magnification to 100 x. and wildlife photography.
